Who is this for?
Adults diagnosed with ADHD later in life who find it difficult to manage daily tasks.
People who struggle to focus and often feel overwhelmed by their responsibilities.
People who feel isolated, like nobody gets them, or like they are the only ones in their circle that face these challenges.
It’s a place I can entirely be myself, and I’m actually getting shit done! In the last six weeks I’ve walked every day, studied for a program I’ve been trying to commit to for years, built daily habits and so much more! I’m so damn grateful to have found this community!

Your ADHD Big Brother
Meet Russ
Like you, I was diagnosed with ADHD later in life. I also have a diagnosis of depression, and I'm still looking for this ADHD superpower thingy. I feel like Superman with kryptonite around my neck half the time! Instead of trying to fly while drowning, I believe in the leveraging the power of an engaging community to help us all achieve our goals. And it works! We have interest-wired brains, so we need interest-wired solutions for importance-required challenges. Let's gamify life while we give and get support! Here's a video ramble of me walking you through some of the features of this amazing community that I'm so proud to say I built.
I'm trained as an integrative wellness coach and have training in ADHD-specific coaching. I bring my continued educational knowledge to the community, as well as my decades of living with, failing at, and succeeding with these conditions. What I learn I share freely as my philosophy is that there is no one better to coach us than ourselves!
Your journey to skull spaghetti mastery begins once your join. Here's a timeline to your first few steps once you join!
Once You Join
You'll receive a direct message welcome
You will receive an automated welcome in your direct messenger in the community and then I will be personally reaching out hopefully the same day to welcome you. You will be directed toward the onboarding process...which sounds bigger than it is.
Watch The Onboarding Videos
Learn how the software platform works
I created a series of very short videos that walk you through the mechanics of the community. it's very similar to Facebook in terms of posting/threads/etc. And there are notifications, bookmarking posts, direct messenging...you'll easily learn the ropes and I'm always just a direct message away if you need help.
Introduce Yourself
Say hi to the most supportive community on the internet!
Part of the onboarding process will guide you to making a few posts. There's a checklist that you can go through to get experience engaging with the community. You'll create your introduction post, you'll post a win you've had recently, and you'll comment on a couple posts...or not...but once you complete the action items in the checklist you can reach out to me and I'll give you a free 30 minute coaching call to get you ever more squared away!
Find Your Space Or Spaces
There are a number of spaces to explore!
There is no need to jump into every space and start doing everything all at once. My biggest suggestion, to really feel the strong support of this community, is to post in the daily accountability club. It's a space for declaring one thing you want to make sure you get accomplished that day, despite the ADHD struggles.
And I would highly encourage you to jump into a live zoom chat. These are incredibly informal, but highly productive! It's a great place to connect with members and give/get support for the things we are working on.
Success Is Happening In The ADHD Big Brother Community
Joining the ADHD Big Brother community has been a huge game-changer for me. Russ has built an effective platform for ADHDers to get together and actually get stuff done. Whether it’s the daily check-ins for consistent accountability, or the resource library of tools and apps that have worked for other forum members - there is a ton of value.
Most importantly, this place is a community. The community aspect has made my involvement here so much more fulfilling. This community is a great place to learn new strategies, find new resources, and meet new folks to connect with over the struggles we all face.
This community is so much fun for me. It's become my ADHD touch stone that I rely on every day now. It gives me external accountability where I get non-judgmental reporting on what I'm doing, watch what others are doing, and it's a place to feel inspired in a place where everyone else there encourages you to do your best.
The other part I love is people have to pay a little to get in. The people there are serious, dedicated, and positive. All together, that's created a place where you can be honest with others and honest with yourself about what's working and what isn't, and get ideas from others to find solutions that work for you. Be as quiet or as oversharing as you wish. We all get to be a Big Brother (or Sister) once in a while as we help each other navigate through our ADHD.
After binge listening to the ADHD Big Brother podcast, I decided to check out the community to see what it was all about. I knew instantly that I found my people. The ADHD Big Brother community is so much more than just a place to find tools and resources to help work with my ADHD. It's a place where I can share my struggles and get support from actual people who understand those struggles. It's a place where I can be myself and not feel judged. It feels great to be part of a community that is always encouraging and inspiring each other to work their way down the mountain to meet the goals they set out to achieve. Whether you need accountability to do small daily tasks or you want help working your way towards a bigger long-term goal, this community is full of people who can nudge you along the way so you can get to wherever it is that you want to go.
Discovering that I had ADHD at the age of 43 was life-changing. Finally all of my struggles made sense, and I was able to let go of a lot of shame. At the same time, I had to accept that I was different from many of the people around me, and that this difference was never going away. I also found that, despite treatment, I still struggled to accomplish many things that were important to me. Enter Russ Jones and the ADHD Big Brother Community! Here I discovered a group of people who totally understand the ridiculous and frustrating ways that my own brain can thwart my best intentions. I can share my struggles freely with no fear of judgment, knowing I’ll receive compassion, support, and maybe even a few shiny new ideas to try! I also love sharing the useful strategies I’ve found and seeing them help others. If you’re considering joining, come on in! It’s worth every penny and so much more!
When I joined the ADHD Big Brother Community, it became my way to stay focused on something that influences key parts of my life. Without a go-to group, I don’t think about or deal with this alone. Having peers leads you to something that could bring about real change. This is a place to talk about it, to read other people’s stories, to go through a whole list of resources. When you face this problem as a group, it does not stay silently in the background. It gives you an opportunity to share what you have learned as well as learn from others.

FAQ
Because there are always more questions!
Nope! While the advice and support is going to be ADHD-specific, it will most certainly apply to anyone who is struggling with a lack of motivation, who is having trouble getting started on tasks, and/or anyone that needs extra support and accountability to nudge themselves forward. Nobody is going to ask for your ADHD card.
Well, then you would be very similar to alot of us. That's part of the reason I built this place. I can promise you this: the community will get you. The community will relate to you. This community IS you. I am also you. I don't love the fact that I struggle with my laundry, and the god awful dishes. You probably already know all my struggles if you listen to the podcast! But we are all in it together in this community - learning from each other, celebrating each other, and supporting each other.
Yep! Take however long you need. While I make every attempt to make the community inviting to newcomers, I absolutely know that feeling of arriving at a party by myself and not knowing anyone. I will introduce myself to you when you join, and during the onboarding process you'll understand the process by which we are all engaging with each other, and you can hang out and absorb information until you are ready to engage. We are an incredibly accepting community, you'll see! The bottom line is that we are all there for the same reason...to get support and learn tools to keep nudging ourselves forward.
This is not ADHD coaching, but in my opinion it is the perfect compliment to it. If you find yourself having amazing sessions with your coach or your therapist, with all the best intentions, and then you don't do any of the work in between sessions, then you are a perfect candidate for this community.
This is where you put everything into practice. This is where you get shit done. We do have multiple coaches inside this community. We are all giving support, and we are getting it as well!
Sure. I get that this won't be for everyone, and I can certainly understand the regret after an impulse buy. How about this: after 7 days, if you feel it's not a good fit, then just reach out to me and I'll refund your money. Done and done! I promise not to take it personal, and if I can help guide you to somewhere else that might be a better fit, I'll surely try. I'm here to be of service.
